Conference: NeNa 2019 - Neurowissenschaftliche Nachwuchskonferenz
Conference for Junior Neuroscientists

from: 2019, 04 Nov - 09:00 to: 2019, 06 Nov - 17:00

NeNa is an annual event organized by Tübingen University doctoral students. The conference is largely for neuroscientists from various disciplines. Interested students are encouraged to join and help make NeNa a fun and interactive conference. The topics at NeNa are integrative and diverse and individuals from a range of interests are able to feel comfortable presenting their work while gaining exposure to research they may not have heard about otherwise. NeNa provides young neuroscientists the opportunity to meet and discuss their research projects with peers and more experienced scientists.

This year's keynote speakers are: Birgit Derntl (University of Tübingen) with focus on the interaction between gender, (endogenous and synthetic) sex hormones and health with regards to socio-emotional competencies. Octavian Voiculescu (University of Cambridge) on growth and form of the neurulating embryo. Simon Jacob (Technical University of Munich), on cellular and circuit dynamics of executive control: from mouse to man.

The 2019 meeting will take place on November 4-6 in the Schwarzwald (Black Forest) in Schramberg, Germany. We are looking forward to seeing you!
