Research
From its foundation in 2008, the CIN has directly supported the work of over 20 research groups working to understand how the brain functions on many different levels. It also comprises over 50 additional members working on neuroscientific topics in Tübingen who contribute their efforts to furthering the scientific goals of the CIN.
This cooperation is being forged among the scientists at the CIN, who are working in various areas of research, and who are working with external partners at the University Hospital, the Max Planck Institutes, the Hertie-Institute for Clincal Brain Research, the Bernstein Centre of Computational Neuroscience, the Fraunhofer IPA in Stuttgart and the Natural and Medical Sciences Institute in Reutlingen.
