Der Neubau festigt Tübingens Stellung als einer der wichtigsten Standorte neurowissenschaftlicher Forschung.
Research
The beginnings of the CIN in 2008 and 2009 were dominated by invitations to tender and the search for first-rate scientists to lead the new research groups. To date, all the new positions have been successfully filled. Many neuroscientists based in Tübingen, who are committed to the CIN as founding members, have in the meantime devoted themselves to building up the CIN, both through carrying out interdisciplinary research and through their presence on subcommittees.
This cooperation is being forged among the scientists at the CIN, who are working in various areas of research, and who are working with external partners at the University Hospital, the Max Planck Institutes, the Hertie-Institute for Clincal Brain Research, the Bernstein Centre of Computational Neuroscience, the Fraunhofer IPA in Stuttgart and the Natural and Medical Sciences Institute in Reutlingen.
