Workshop: First international workshop on segregation and integration in music and language
The University of Tübingen, the Werner Reichardt Centre for Integrative Neuroscience and the MEG Centre Tübingen jointly invite to the First International Workshop on Segregation and Integration in Music and Language. The workshop is aimed at all PhD-students, postdocs and researchers who are interested in the neural mechanisms of music and language processing, especially those which might be shared by or separated in both modalities. It will cover the three areas of auditory processing: music, language and non-speech signals. The goal of this workshop is to give an overview of the state of the art in neuroscience research of music and language, but further to present methods depicting the newest paradigms and techniques currently employed. Its aim is to initiate a community in which researchers of auditory mechanisms can exchange their experiences.
