Field of Research
Research interests are covering the establishment of direct connections between neural tissue and external information processing tools. Direct connections means not only data processing of recorded data but also introducing information into the neural systems using adaptive stimulation. Selected current projects focus on the movement planning simultaneously observed via fMRI and EEG, adaptive stimulation in the barrel cortex of rats and a the development of a Bidirectional Cortical Communication Interface (BCCI) using ECoG.
