Field of Research

Our research and development programme aims to develop active hearing implants for patients with profound or total hearing loss. This includes vibratory middle ear implants to be coupled to the perilymphe of the inner ear. Furthermore, cochlear implants and brain stem implants are investigated. In addition, hybrids of vibratory and electrical implants are addressed.
